Examines, evaluates and/or determines present and potential system and subsystem requirements including Nonconformances, Corrective Actions and process improvement efforts. This includes review of complex drawings and requirements to work with Manufacturing Engineering to assure all requirements are met.
Review and approval of shop travelers (build paper). Establishment of Mandatory Inspection Points.
Assists Manufacturing Engineering to establish the personnel, equipment, and facility resources necessary for performance of the contract requirements.
Evaluates and makes recommendations on specific system designs in terms of operational suitability and effectiveness in fulfilling customer or contract requirements.
Administers technical plans, procedures and policies for assigned organization.
Formulates, establishes, and implements analytical techniques for determining corrective actions and process improvements including flow down to the shop floor and follow-up for effectiveness. Hands on activities with the shop to promote continual improvement.
Develops and maintains a good working relationship with customers QA leads and on-site inspectors. Will be required to act as POC for government source inspection.
