Business Operations Manager

Job Description

Work closely with the Contract Program Manager with a primary interface to the TBE Company support organizations.  Responsible for oversight of program planning and control, contracting, subcontracting, SHE, export compliance, and all business area support.  Manage contract compliance; provide updates, issues modifications and negotiate revisions.  Assist in development of internal and customer program review reporting.  Prepare Task Order proposals and negotiate Task Order(s). Maintain subcontractor Statement of Work and facilitate subcontractor contract modifications.  Effectively manage purchase orders per program schedule, budget and requirements. Ensure that the reporting requirements for both internal and external customers are in compliance with company procedures and Federal Regulations such as FAR, DFAR, etc.  Report status of Orders, Sales, Income with appropriate variance analysis and take appropriate actions to achieve business commitments.

Job Requirements

15+ years of applicable experience. Experience in forecasting, planning, reporting, customer interfacing, coordinating and pricing cost proposals of various contract types, and preparing cost volumes.  Ability to work in a diverse, multi-skilled team of Business professionals. Competencies desired are adaptability, customer focus and ability to multi-task and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.  Strong communication skills both verbal and written.  Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage to schedule and meet deadlines.  

Skill Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must. Candidate will use Microsoft Office Suite products, Deltek Costpoint, TM1 and other tools as required.

Education Requirements

Requires a BS degree, generally in accounting, business administration or equivalent field, and fifteen years of professional experience in business management, financial/contractual tracking and reporting.
