Job Description

The successful candidate will work in the Infrastructure organization and troubleshoot problems and provide technical expertise for architecture, administration, and support of:

Setup and configuration of all enterprise email servers

Monitoring and operation of all email gateways and peripheral subsystems such as spam and virus filters

Technical support for the EMC email archival/retention system

Monitoring of Exchange systems to assure proper performance; perform diagnostics and preventative maintenance and procedures as required

Work with Active Directory schema to assure effective administration and deployment of email services

Assure the rigorous application of internal and external information security policies, principles and practices

Serve as part of the Active Directory/Email administrators which is responsible for proactively identifying, testing and implementing system/application upgrades to resolve problems, keep system operationally current and improve reliability and performance.

Complete support and request tasks submitted by the helpdesk

Provide level elevated tier support as needed

Manage Blackberry enterprise server environment


At least 7 years experience with information systems related technologies in a Microsoft Active Directory environment


Ability to obtain a Security Clearance  




Job Requirements

Extensive knowledge and experience with complex email environments, including anti-virus and anti-spam solutions, support remote users and mail system migration

Comprehensive experience and understanding of Exchange 2007/2010 administration, upgrade, implementation and maintenance support

Comprehensive experience with email archiving solutions

Comprehensive experience with mobile devices management

Strong analytical/problem solving skills

Responsive and disciplined support of users

Strong written and verbal communication skills

The applicant must be able to troubleshoot complex Infrastructure issues in a multi-homed  enterprise server environment, and work independently with little supervision. Being able to operate in a geographically dispersed enterprise is a must. 


 Must be able to operate in an environment where information security is a top priority.




Skill Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Information Technology or related field preferred

Seven years experience of operating system, email and related support

MCP, MSCE, MCSA certification preferred

Education Requirements

BS in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent
